John is the senior partner at our Sheffield office, UHY Wingfield Slater.
He heads the Corporate Services Team, working closely with businesses to provide commercial advice and develop business strategies. He specialises in raising business finance, business planning, government assistance to industry, and helping businesses achieve their full potential.
After graduating from Emmanuel College, Cambridge, John trained at a national firm before joining Wingfield Slater in 1976. As a Sheffield native it is appropriate that many of his clients are in the engineering sector, although he benefits from many years’ experience of a wide range of businesses.
John is married with two adult children. He finds his work extremely fulfilling but not quite as enjoyable as hillwalking, cycling or listening to classical music.
